When Carla, co-founder of
www.nappycakes.ie,
discovered she was expecting her first baby in late 2007 she
began to browse the web for unique baby items and discovered
the 'diaper cake'. Her first thought was 'wow' and her
second one was 'I would love to create these!' and so the
seed was sown...
Over the years
Carla has developed a beautiful selection of baby gifts
including
nappy cakes,
baby bouquets and
baby gift baskets.
She also realised that it was important to recognise the
excitement of a baby for new dads resulting in a beautiful
range of
quirky gifts that any new
father would be delighted to receive!
I guess we're
not the only ones that think our products are amazing.
We have sent hundreds of our baby gifts all over Ireland and
the four corners of the world and have received
fabulous
compliments and amazing feedback from all our customers.
We want every new parent to have the 'wow' factor of a gift that
has been handmade especially for them...after all it is a
big moment!
We believe that
if something is worth doing it is worth doing right!
As such, we only use premium quality products in all of our
gifts and careful attention to detail is paramount. We
design each new product with the same enthusiasm and pride
as we did our first! Every tiny detail is carefully
considered. If we wouldn't like to receive it ourselves then
it doesn't make the website!
In 2009 we
launched our wholesale gift range on our sister website
www.babyblossoms.ie
which
invites gift stores to offer our products at a local level.
Our list of stockists is steadily growing!
